My project, Aesthetic Instincts: the Intersection of Art and Science in the Life of Santiago Ramón y Cajal featured in the Canadian based, international publication, UPPERCASE, 50th edition: Visualizing Science.
I am delighted to share my work about Cajal with an international audience.
An exhibition of 10 drawings are on display in celebration of the 100th year anniversary of the Instituto Cajal.

Cajal's hands, microscope, pyramidal neuron, and mini self-portrait from his sketchbook juxtaposed with his retirement statement and design details from his Nobel Prize - the photographic source imagery was originally black and white. Color has been added and the color of the Nobel Prize design details has been altered, marker and pen on paper, 11" x 14."

Art Exhibition with Cajal March 2015- to the present
John Porter Neuroscience Research Center, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD.
An ongoing, living exhibition that features Cajal's scientific drawings. It is my great pleasure to have the opportunity to display my drawings about Cajal alongside his work. Jeff Diamond, Senior Researcher NINDS, is the curator of this exhibition.
After the conference, all of the presenters were honored with an invitation to a special reception celebrating the event at the Spanish Ambassador's, Ramón Gil-Casares, home.
